I believe that we were placed in our first semester classes based on scores in our entrance exams. I think I was put in at least one higher-level class & HATED that concept. One classmate & I became friends, since she felt the same way. The nun quickly punished us for fooling around in class, & made us stand near her, facing the wall. We spontaneously started quietly horsing around outside her view. I then knew that we’d be friends, as is still true!
